The whole place looks like it's made of cardboard, it's too hot to justify going anywhere as nowhere is very interesting when you get there, and I don't know where my people are or how I would convince them that they were my people.

I'm hoping this is the culmination of the deep-seated ambivalence I have had regarding this whole trip and that in not much longer I will start finding out why people say "hey, travel, what a great idea, why don't you try travelling?". Otherwise I'll cut my trip 11 months short. I can be depressed anywhere, might as well do it somewhere where I know people who might want to get a beer.
